West Bromwich Network Church relies on the generous prayer and financial support of members, partner churches and individuals around the UK and around the world. In these early stages of our ministry we rely heavily on partner churches and non-members to back us up with prayer and financial donations. We hope that our supporters will see us as missionaries, pioneering a new church plant in a foreign culture and will support us with the usual passion and sacrifice they give to their missionary partners around the world. Why do we need your support? West Bromwich is in the borough of Sandwell which is the 13th most deprived borough in the UK! Apart from being the 13th most deprived overall, it is also unusual in being uniformly deprived, without any real pockets of wealth anywhere. The population is predominantly young, with many choosing to move on when they can, and younger families moving in to cheap and available homes. Despite this demographic, there is very little leisure opportunity for young people or families. Overall, West Bromwich is an area in great need, populated by poorer families - indeed the borough has a household income level between 2/3 and 3/4 the national average. As a church this means the level of giving from church members will be very low - once we've managed to build up a committed church membership in the first place. The point at which we expect to have built up a committed church membership who are able to financially suport the work of the church significantly is a long way off. To get to that point we will require long term partnerships with churches and individuals over the next few years. We hope you will consider supporting us in any way you can. How can you support WBNC? Prayer Support We offer a regular, no commitment, newsletter which we distribute electronically and in print. Please sign up for the newsletter with the form on the right hand side of this page to receive the regular email newsletter. Or if you prefer a printed newsletter, please send us an email through the 'contact us' page and send us your name and address. Financial Gifts The early stages of a church plant involve great expense in terms of setup costs and marketing materials, as well as other items for hospitality and outreach. Naturally, in the early stages these costs aren't met by a stable congregation, and so we ask each of our friends and partner churches to support us financially while we build up a committed congregation who can take on the financial responsibility to give serioiusly and sacrificially. There are two ways you can give to WBNC: 1. UK Taxpayers If you are a UK Taxpayer, Lichfield Diocese are kindly offering administrative assisstance by providing a Gift Aid scheme for us. If you send a cheque to them, they willdo all the necessary paperwork to reclaim the extra 22p in every £1 given from the government. If you would like to give in this way please send a cheque made payable to "Lichfield Diocesan Board of Finance" and send to: St Mary's House The Close Lichfield WS13 7LD together with a completed Gift Aid Form available as a download here . 2. PayPal one-off gifts or regular subscriptions We would urge everyone who is a taxpayer to use the Gift Aid provision through Lichfielfd Diocese, but if you are unable to use that please send us your gift via our PayPal account, using the box on the right of this screen. You can either send a one-off gift or set up a regular subscription payment. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us in these first days of planting WBNC and would ask and pray for your continued provision in the days to come. Thank you.
