Life Development

At WBNC we believe that every person is created unique, with an amazing variety of skills, passions, ability's and all sorts of other untapped qualities. The way our world teaches us to be means we end up being a lot less than we could be. Instead of being a unique and amazing person, we tend to become just one of the herd, and nothing special at all. We want you to unlock your full potential, realise who you were created to be, and be released to enjoy the fullness of life in ways you'd never imagined were possible.

The wonderful thing about the Christian faith is that unlocking your full potential is actually very simple! The way we help people discover that simplicity at WBNC is through our 4 step process called Life Development.

Step 1: Discovering Church Membership

A Christian who doesn't belong to a church is the same as an orphan - a child who doesn't belong to a family. Jesus never said it was ok to go it alone, in fact, the whole point of Christianity is to build communities and relationships. Over 70% of the UK population declare themselves to officially be 'Christians'. Why then do so few go to church? Because most people have virtually no clue about what a fantastic blessing to their lives being a signed up member of a church can be.

In Discovering Church Membership we will explore what it means to belong to a church and what a huge blessing belonging to WBNC will be to you, and what it really means to be a member.

Step 2: Growing to Spiritual Maturity

Most people don't believe they have the capacity for doing anything outstanding, but they wish they did. Jesus had other ideas. After all his miracles and signs and wonders which left thousands spellbound whereever he went, he said "you will do even greater things than me"! Wht did he mean? What is our full worth and true potential when we grow spiritually? We'll explore all these issues and discover together what it means to develop our spiritual lives in the course "Growing to Spiritual Maturity".

 

Step 3: Finding My SHAPE

Every one has a SHAPE! That's not what you might think it is - we're worried how big or small you are, how tall, short, wide or thin. No. SHAPE has to do with finding your perfect role in life and being truly fulfilled. Imagine if you could be doing something which gave you total fulfilment and truly changed the lives of other people around you for the better as well. That's the power of discovering your SHAPE. The SHAPE course will help you to discover that real you in a relaxed and fun short course.

 

Step 4: Discovering My Life Mission

Does God have something more up His sleeve for you? You bet He does. Life with God is nothing short of an adventure - if we choose to follow Him. Discovering your Life Mission is about embarking on that jourey of life fully and without looking back. It can be scarey at times, but hugely fulfilling.
